Gold List Method for learning to L/T memory part two
Here is the second part of the explanation of the gold list vocab learning method I have devised. Unfortunately the link is dead. There are other films on goldlist which show example sheets, but you don't need an excel version really anyway. I'll be producing a template that is printable and putting it on some other service in due course. Please protect my authorship rights to this methodology by crediting it when copying on. Not-for-profit credited use is OK. I intend for any For-profit use to give rise to donations to highly-recognised humanitarian charities, in addition to the crediting of my authorship. It is not my intention to profit from the method, unlike the purveyors of the various short-term memory schemes, but to put it out for the good of people, especially people wishing to study and learn. It is all about optimising the long-term effect of the time spent in study, and giving the memory part of the brain a structured work-out in the way you would work out the muscles of the body. Languages are for life, not just for a two-week holiday.

Rumiana Jeleva defends herself after EU hearings
Rumiana Jeleva Speaks at EU Hearings - Press Point Position: Crisis Response commissioner Country: Bulgaria From Europolitics.info: The European Commission does not wish to comment on the hearing of Bulgarian candidate Rumiana Jeleva so as not to interfere with the hearing process, but President José Manuel Barroso says he maintains his "confidence in all his commissioners" (see separate article). The political groups are also waiting before taking sides. Barroso has "taken note that Rumiana Jeleva denies all the accusations against her" and finds it "inadvisable" to intervene at this stage, said the Commission spokesman, on 13 January. He will respond "to Parliament's requests in due course" but so far has not received anything from MEPs. Several political groups have nevertheless announced that they will ask him to check the facts on Jeleva and to say whether or not he maintains her candidacy. read more at www.europolitics.info

Inter Ference - Justin Fashanu
A short piece by Inter Ference on the life of Justin Fashanu. PLEASE NOTE: Inter Ference would like to distance himself from the use of Tom Cruise's image in this video. At no point was he aware that a film was being made using this recording nor was he consulted prior to uploading. The film was edited by musiciam as an experiment and will be removed in due course. Tom Cruise is NOOOOOT gay, nor has been, nor ever will be. The mere association of his face with the word gay COULD give the misleading impression that he is gay, or that the editor may have considered him gay, which is of course not the case. The editor simply wished to to use Tom Cruise as an example of someone who people continue to hound unjustly, to come out of the closet. Our deepest apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

KOTOR (LS) 50 - Bastila's Mother & HK-47
In the Cantina, we meet Helena, Bastila's mother. Their reunion doesn't go very well - in order to patch up their relationship, I must find the Holocrone of Bastila's late father (Bastila's Mother Quest). In the Droid Shop, I manage to get HK-47 for 2500 credits - half price! He'll join me in due course, but not just yet. I'm going to have a girlie fun with Bastila and Mission for a while. As I transit back to the Ebon Hawk to upgrade the weapons, I witness the Gizka are inhibiting... how cute. They can stay on the ship until I reach Manaan. Before I set off to the Dune Sea, Iziz, Jawa leader, tells me his people are captured by the Sand People (Fair Trade Quest). I'll see what I can do. Console: X-Box

North Yorkshire Moors Railway Spring Steam Gala, Saturday 2/5/09
not the day i planned, i took a trip to the NYMR with my Friend Tim (randylandyrover) to the NYMR's spring steam gala, which was due to be a massive 11 loco gala, with frequent passenger runs and double heading combinations, sadly how ever it didn't all go to plan. half the Guest Engines had Failed (60163 later in the day and S&D 7F 53809), one guest wasn't even their (45407) and some home based engines were failed aswell (825, 45212, which ran later in the day, 6619, 49395) in action on the 2/5/09 were: | LNER A1 Class 60163 'Tornado' (Visiting, which failed towards the end of the day) | LNER A4 Class 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' | LNER Q6 Class 63395 | BR Standard 4MT class 75029 | BR Standard 4MT class 76079 | LMS 5MT Class 45212 (worked one round trip) | BR Class 37 Diesel D6700 (Thunderbird for 60163 after she failed) Timings of trains i rode on will be added in due course a sad start to what was planned to be a massive gala on the NYMR, Good Luck in getting the locos back for Next Weeekend

Marcel Dupré plays Carillon at St Sulpice
Marcel Dupré plays his own Carillon from Sept Pieces (Opus 27) in St Sulpice, Paris. This stereo recording from the Mercury label was made in 1959, the transfer was made from mint condition LPs (not master tapes) to CD by those clever people at Haydn House. The transfers from the LP are nothing short of remarkable, considering the master tapes are either lost or unavailable. I will put up the Final from Sept Piéces and a Prelude and Fugue Op36 from the same CD another time. In due course I will put up some relatively unknown recordings by Yves Devernay, Thierry Esciach, Leonce de St Martin, Pierre Cochereau, Xaver Varnus, Pierre Pincemaille and Jean Guillou amongst others.

Over 16 hours of SD and HD video footage was shot during the visit, which will be released by AirlineHobby.com DVDs during 2007 as a Honeywell 720 Tribute DVD. High Definition DVDs of this historic aircraft and unique operation will also be released in due course. Honeywell's 720 is scheduled for retirement in late 2007.
