Golf Course Management
Golf Course Management is designed to prepare graduates for positions as managers and assistant managers of both public and private golf courses. Students receive "hands-on" training during two 216-hour summer internship experiences. First semester is 16 weeks; remaining semesters are 12 weeks each. Job duties may include managing personnel and public relations, overseeing food and beverage operations, administering financial plans, coordinating golf shop operations, managing the maintenance of facilities and equipment, directing turf and non-turf management practices, and complying with regulatory and legal issues. After completion of this program of study, students have the option to go right into the industry or to transfer to a four year college or university through established articulation agreements.

GOLF COURSE REVIEW/FLYOVER - HARDING PARK
The day I played this it was in great shape and the weather was perfect which I understand is not always the case. I only paid residents rate ie I happened to know one of the pros but would have paid the $100 (at least once anyway) Pace of play was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Greens on this day were fast and roiling very true. Golf course is very generous off the tee however; you can find yourself in some deep rough or behind trees. The layout typical muni but well bunkered. I would say it is a must play if you are in the area. It is the best conditioned muni I have ever played and the scenery is great as-well. www.harding-park.com

The first nine holes are exceptionally short and provide several challenging par 3 holes. The back nine however are long but offer wide fairways and relatively few hazards.

Air Horn Golf at Meadowink Golf Course
Me and my friends re creating the jackass stunt where they blow an air horn on a golfers backswing. A little shakey on the camera work but it was hard to film where is was. turn it up loud so you can hear what everyone says. we did it on the 18th whole at meadowink golf course. I was filming from a tree, my one friend was covering me up with treee branches, and my 2 other friends were behind a tree about 15 yards from where the men teed off at. they were right next to the two ladies. Were gonna make another one this summer. theres no guarentee that its gonna be as good but well try
