Coalition violated over inquiry
Three people want answers as to why a former Toledo Public Schools administrator ordered a private investigation into their background. This all stems from a state audit, accusing Dan Burns of using district money to do it. This company performed private investigations on three former school board members and two activists. Burns, a former school district business manager, is accused of using just over a $1000 to investigate activists Steven Flagg, Dr. Francis Dumbuya. He also spent $500 to investigate former board members Robert Torres, Dr. Steven Steel and Darlene Fisher. Though not pointing fingers at Burns, Fisher, Flagg and Dumbuya held a news conference at the Kent Branch Library Wednesday. All say they did nothing wrong and they feel violated over the investigation. They want to know why the investigation happened, and if there are more people involved.

San Francisco 49ers vs Antioch High School staff
Antioch High School's Ron Molina (Recording Arts Director) invited the 49ers out to play them in a basketball game to benefit the music department. Opening shot fittingly begins with Bob Hernandez who is the biggest local 49er fan and supporter. Halftime crowd enjoyed gathering autographs from Doug Bryant (former De La Salle student), Roger Craig, Elvis Gerbach, Harris Barton, Jerry Rice to name a few. Some of the 1995 49ers jersey numbers are: 83 63 88 67 48 4. Halftime winner of an autographed 49ers team football went to Rabecca Stewart. Some Antioch High School staff participants were Jim Magana and Bob Fisher. Took place at AHS in Richardson Gymnasium. helpful words: Antioch Unified School District.
