Paralegal certificate or AA degree in paralegal studies?
I received a Bachelors degree in Social Science in December 2003 but took some time off from school to be home with my kids. I’m interested in becoming a paralegal but was wondering which would better to have: a paralegal certificate which would take about 9 months or an Associates degree in paralegal studies which would take two years? The ten courses I would need for the certificate are 30 hours each while the ones for the degree would last a whole semester so I’m guessing I’d be receiving more education since I’d be in each class longer.
