I suppose if you want to work at a high power big firm, it could matter. ABA lack of approval can be for reasons unrelated to quality. For example, my law school for years was not approved because they offered part time programs. Didn’t make sense, but that’s the way they are. The Paralegal Certificate Program

Some offers the paralegal certificate program upon completion of the Introduction to Law for Paralegals, Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, Torts, Contract Law, and Criminal Law and Procedure.
